Welcome to the world of immigration! The Swedish American Museum is your passport to teaching immigration in new, exciting ways using multidisciplinary tools and innovative field trips.

Immigration Imagination field trips are tailored to your school’s needs.
Time travel back to 1870 to experience immigration from Sweden to America in our Brunk Children’s Museum of Immigration. Completely hands on and interactive
Grades 2–12 can tour our Gallery Space featuring rotating exhibits by Swedish and Swedish–American artists.
All field trips have the option to learn Swedish folk dancing and traditional Swedish crafts.
Guided tours are available to all groups ages Pre–K through High School with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 60. Programs are generally two hours for groups of 20 or more. Tours are available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $2 per student; chaperones and teachers are free. Some workshops require an additional fee.
We request that a minimum of four chaperones and a maximum of one for every five students be provided for grades pre-K through four and a maximum of one for every ten students for grades five and up.. There will be a $2 per person charge for the number of adults that exceed the maximum.
Students may eat brown bag lunches in the classroom on the third floor with prior permission.
