The Swedish American Museum offers plenty of events, classes, and programs to suit the community’s needs, interests, and entertainment–all while celebrating Swedish and Swedish-American culture and sharing it with everyone! 

We have many family events, lectures, workshops, and concerts to bring everyone together and learn something new about Swedish culture.  Exhibit-related events, such as openings and gallery walks celebrate Swedish and Swedish-American arts and designs and occur quarterly.   If you’re hungry, the Museum hosts numerous events pertaining to food–whether it’s our traditional Herring Breakfast or a special Smörgåsbord workshop!  Holidays are also important to Swedish culture, and you will find the Museum celebrates them with special concerts, dinners, dances, and more.
