The Swedish American Museum offers plenty of events, classes, and programs to suit the community’s needs, interests, and entertainment–all while celebrating Swedish and Swedish-American culture and sharing it with everyone!

We have many family events, lectures, workshops, and concerts to bring everyone together and learn something new about Swedish culture.  programs-classes-and-eventsExhibit-related events, such as openings and gallery walks celebrate Swedish and Swedish-American arts and designs and occur quarterly.   If you’re hungry, the Museum hosts numerous events pertaining to food–whether it’s our traditional Herring Breakfast or a special Smörgåsbord workshop!  Holidays are also important to Swedish culture, and you will find the Museum celebrates them with special concerts, dinners, dances, and more.

The Museum’s Programs & Classes schedule is published twice a year.  You can also find information in the sections to the left, as well as our Calendar.  Please click here to view the spring 2010 schedule.  The fall schedule will be uploaded soon.
