Special Events

The Swedish American Museum’s annual fundraising event is a night of fun and celebration of Swedish and Swedish-American heritage and culture, and it usually takes place in October or November. A silent auction is held, and Museum guests are treated to a night of appreciation of the Museum’s mission and accomplishments, and particularly to celebrate our ties to the past and the present and our links to the future.

All That Jazz: 2013 Annual Gala

Thank you for making our annual ball a wonderful and successful evening!

We honored Ken Nordine on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 at our annual dinner, dance, and auction benefiting the Swedish American Museum. The theme of this past year’s ball, which was held at Roosevelt University’s Auditorium Ballroom, was “All That Jazz” in homage to our honoree’s contribution to the world of word jazz.
