Special Events

The Swedish American Museum’s annual fundraising event is a night of fun and celebration of Swedish and Swedish-American heritage and culture, and it usually takes place in October or November.  A silent auction is held, and Museum guests are treated to a night of appreciation of the Museum’s mission and accomplishments, and particularly to celebrate our ties to the past and the present and our links to the future.

Upcoming Annual Ball: October 23, 2010

This year’s annual fundraising event is titled Viking Spirit and takes place on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago.  Special invitations will be mailed. Pre-paid reservation required.

Museum offers the purchase of raffle tickets to the public before the benefit takes place.  Winners will be announced at the benefit, but they need not be present to win.

Call the Museum at 773.728.8111 for more information about our annual benefit, the raffle, or to make a donation.
