The Swedish American Museum’s annual fundraising event is a night of fun and celebration of Swedish and Swedish-American heritage and culture, and it usually takes place in October or November. A silent auction is held, and Museum guests are treated to a night of celebration of the Museum’s mission and accomplishments.

Ruby Gala: Celebrating 40 Years

Saturday, Nov. 5, 6 p.m.

Join us and celebrate our fortieth anniversary at the Ruby Gala! This year our annual dinner, dance, and auction to benefit the Swedish American Museum will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Cathedral Hall of the University Club.

Invitations will be mailed, but tickets will be available for purchase on the Museum’s website soon. Confirmed reservations are required to attend.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets for the Ruby Gala will be available for purchase at the Kerstin Andersson Museum Store at the Swedish American Museum closer to the date of the event. Ticket costs and prizes to be announced soon. Winners will be announced at the benefit on Saturday, Nov. 5; winners need not be present to win.

If you wish to purchase the raffle tickets included with your mailed invitation, you may fill out the tickets and drop them off at the Museum or mail them to the Swedish American Museum (5211 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60640) with payment. Raffle tickets must be received by Friday, Nov. 4 to be entered. However, additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the ball on Saturday, Nov. 5.
