The after-school program is designed for children ages 5 to 10. Younger children are welcome under the supervision of an adult. Cost: $1 per child. Reservations recommended.

The Nordic Family Genealogy Center hosts genealogy classes from 10 a.m. to noon the fourth Saturday of each month. Additional time is given to beginner researchers every other month, between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Annual membership: $20 for Museum members; non-members pay $10 per session. If possible, bring your laptop computer and family information to class.
Nov. 21 – Morning and afternoon sessions: How to use FTM data disks available in the Nordic Family Genealogy Center. You are encouraged to bring a blank CD or your laptop computer to record information obtained. Please note, this is the third Saturday of November because of the Thanksgiving weekend.

Julotta is a beautiful Swedish Christmas tradition. Join us for an early Christmas Day Swedish church service at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 1650 W. Foster Ave., Chicago.
A traditional Swedish Smörgåsbord with all the entertainment will be held at the Museum. Tomten (Santa) will be attending to give julklappar (presents) to all the children. Special invitations will be mailed. Pre-paid reservations are required. Food catered by Tre Kronor.
