Chicago's Newberry Library: Genealogy and Local History

As one of the leading centers for genealogy research in the country, the Newberry Library provides access to a range of records, databases, and primary and secondary sources that will give you new leads to follow in search of your family history. Matthew Rutherford is the Curator of Genealogy and Local History and will provide you with helpful information about the Newberry’s collection as well as researching your family history.
