Mormors Café offers salad or soup specials on Thursdays, additional specials on Fridays and celebrate special Swedish holidays and food days. Sweden has a lot of special food days, where specific foods are celebrated. The reasons are a mix of tradition, marketing, and cultural love of cozy traditions. So even if Cinnamon Roll Day was invented in 1999 it is now one of the biggest food days of the year.
